Highlights of the 2013 Queensland Geothermal Workshop

The leaders of the Australian geothermal sector participated in the 2013 Queensland Geothermal Workshop to discuss the current development status in current projects, future prospects in Queensland and elsewhere, and the outcomes of the QGECE research programs.

EGS in China

I attended a workshop at Jilin University last week as a guest of the university.  The Workshop was attended by 12 overseas EGS researchers and practitioners to discuss the EGS status and prospects with the Chinese academics and the industry people.

EGS On the Road Again in Australia

I think we can dare to start getting excited again about geothermal energy in Australia. Compared to five years ago, this time the progress might be slightly subdued but hopefully more enduring.
